Do you struggle with engagement from your students? Is it difficult to keep them actively learning and paying attention? My preschoolers with special needs require so much stimulation and movement that often I feel like a YouTube video entertainer or a character from television. I have learned to make the materials in my classroom multi-faceted over the years. As I use more hands-on, interactive products throughout my classroom, the level of engagement and learning has drastically improved. My students LOVE playing “teacher” and “school” with all of these interactive products and I hope you see the same level of excitement for your students. It’s a fun way to “trick” them into learning by playing and having fun.
Check out the pictures below of some of my favorites and read about what they contain. Feel free to push the button under each picture to see more information. Scroll down for some free “emotions” posters after reading this blog!
