Homes Thematic BUNDLE

Home Thematic Mini-Unit

Use this mini-unit to work on literacy and math standards. There are six activities total to incorporate into your homes thematic unit.
The following activities are included:
Language/ Literacy Activities:
- vocabulary cards with the beginning sound in green and the ending sound in red
- syllable cards to clap out each vocabulary word
- house matching game incorporating wh-questions
Math Activities:
- counting windows and clipping the number (up to 10)
- measuring the different houses with cubes
- sequencing the different sizes of houses with and without numbers
All activities are in color and in black and white.
Home Scenes with Vocabulary

Use these 112 vocabulary words in your classroom or during speech therapy to enhance vocabulary and improve sentence structure. This unit features 9 rooms, each accompanied by a visual model for replication.
The 9 rooms consist of:
- kitchen
- laundry room
- dining room
- living room
- bathroom
- garage
- backyard
- kids’ bedrooms (boy and girl)
- office
Each set includes the following:
- background scenes
- list of the pieces for each room
- numbers to glue on the back for easy identification
- word cards
- picture cards
Also included are sentence mats for your students to practice talking in complete sentences. Word cards are included, along with simple picture matches, for your students who are not yet ready to read.
Home Schedule Cards

Use these visual cards to help families stay on a schedule at home. These will help families and students transition smoothly into routines in your classroom. All cards are available in color and in black and white. Copy the smaller black-and-white cards for families to use. Have children color their own schedules and take them home to use. Increase autonomy with your students at home!!

Building-a-House

Use this adorable following directions product to help build a house. There are 4 different houses to build. This product is perfect for small groups, literacy centers, art centers, science centers, and IEP data collection. Use the mini-books to help students build their houses with visuals. Read the directions to help them color the black/white house and copy the last few pages for them to color, cut, and glue!
